Location: Toronto is a vibrant city with lots to offer including panoramic views from the CN Tower and the huge 161 acre High Park where students can go for a hike or partake in other sporting activities. With this in mind, it is no wonder that Hansa Language Centre chose this city for its language school location. The school is found in the Downtown part of Toronto only a small walk away from the subway stop Edlington, which is well connected to all areas of the city. Surrounding the school are restaurants of all varieties, bars and shopping options.
Course structure: The size of the school is impressive, with 55 classrooms and an average class size of 9 students, boasting 300 lessons available every day. Along with a number of immersive courses in English including General Language courses, exam courses in both IELTS and TOEFL and private classes, Hansa Language Centre also offers a Foreign Language course in a variety of different languages including French, Spanish, German and Mandarin. Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

“As far as the timetable is concerned, as this is a group course, it will be difficult to change the times during your 4 weeks. But we will make the request to the school. The times are generally between 17.30 and 21.30.”

I am pretty much ready to enroll in General English Programme for 3weeks and IELTS preparation for 2 months, respectively, in Hansa Language Centre. Should I make payment separately for these courses, or can I register for both of the courses all at once? And then Is there any discount if I pay for two courses?

The General English programme from Hansa Language Centre has its students work on all the aspects of English study that you would expect from a course with a general approach: grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and plenty of conversation practice. The school takes pride in being able to offer small class sizes, which has the benefit of promoting better communication between teachers and all students.
These classes take place at the Yonge Street campus, on a weekly commitment of 20 hours per week. All participants are assigned to a group that most closely represents their current English level, but can later be changed depending on your progress and other factors. New students can start on practically any Monday of the year, so you’ll be able to jump in whenever you want.
