Location: Idiom is located in the Libération neighbourhood of the city of Nice on the Mediterranean Sea. The school is a five-minute walk from the famous Liberation Market, an open air market surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the food court inside the old train station, the Gare du Sud. It takes close to ten minutes to reach the entrance to the Nice-Ville Train Station on foot from the school. In the immediate vicinity students will find France’s National Museum dedicated to the work of Marc Chagall and the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption. Students can walk to the beach and the Promenade des Anglais from the school in about 25 minutes or 15 minutes by public transport.
The school: Housed in a lovely building with a walled garden, Idiom is a school which specialises in language courses for adults. They are proud of their high quality teaching staff and have over 25 years of experience. The group classes are small and they also offer many options for personalised learning to students who wish to focus on specific aspects of the language or who need to learn at a faster pace. In their course catalogue students will also find training classes for teachers of French and preparation programmes for exams such as the DELF.
Arriving in Nice: The city of Nice is very near to the Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) and there is a direct tram line which takes approximately thirty minutes. Nice is also a popular destination for travel by train and is serviced by two large stations: Nice-Ville in the downtown area and Nice-Riquier further from the city centre. A smaller line which services the Provence region also has a station in the city, just on the other side of the Liberation Market, and is great for visiting the outlying areas.

“Many changes in the number of students especially during the communication section. Difficult to hear the radio during the language test. It could be that my hearing is poorer, but it's difficult to understand until your ears have adjusted to the French. ”
