How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school
Location: Idiomas Plus is situated in the east of Malaga, in the neighbourhood of Pedregalejo. It is an old fishing village, just back from the beachfront. The area is a residential area, with lots of attractive things to do in the centre including a promenade with palm trees, lots of traditional fish eateries and other international restaurants, and a spectacular view of the sunset.
Getting around: It is a short walk from the school to the beach and to all that is available in the neighbourhood. For trips into the centre of Malaga, students have the option to take a 30 minute bus ride or hire a bike and ride into the centre in 20 minutes. Idomas Plus is on a main road in the area and there are a selection of bus stops within a 10-minute walking radius of the school.
Course structure: The school has group Spanish classes and individual lessons. There is a DELE exam preparation course to pass the DELE exam.
Cultural and social events: Idiomas Plus believes in integrating the culture of the area with learning a language. They offer an intensive weekly social calendar, which includes a daily selection of activities for students to join. These take place in the afternoon and/or evening and there are often excursions at the weekend to nearby cities.

30 lessons per week plus 2 lessons study club. Ideal for students who want to learn the language more intensively. The additional lessons give students the opportunity to focus more deeply on the various aspects and contexts of the language.
Course duration: minimum 1 week.
Classes: 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per
week (22.5 hours per week).
Minimum age in the Adult Program: 18 years old (Participation
conditions for people between the ages of 16 and 17 can be found

Special note for 2024 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2024 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

It is an ideal option for those who already have a strong foundation and are fairly competent in the language of choice, but who wish to take their language skills to the next level. Although this course is perfect for higher-level learners it is equally effective for complete beginners who wish to kick-start their language abilities rapidly.
It is designed to challenge the learner, therefore widening their knowledge of the language in a short period of time. It is particularly suitable for university students and the academically minded.
The eight daily lessons are broken down as follows:
- 3 Lessons: Grammar and vocabulary.
- 2 lessons: Conversation.
- 3 lessons: Reading, reading comprehension, listening
comprehension, and writing.
The course structure can vary from group to group as it is largely dependent on the needs of the individual students, as well as the teaching style of the teacher. However, regardless of the structure all of the above elements will be covered.
Topic matters discussed are mostly drawn from current and topical articles from local newspapers and magazines. They are chosen carefully to correspond with the language level of the learners.

Quality of teaching / language progress: My teacher (Asuncion) really was a nice person, cordially thanks for her! (Also the headmaster was very pleasant BUT: the message I got (before the lessons began) made me upset. When the only idea was say 'hello, welcome!' why did it sound like I had done something wrong...??)
