InClasse is a school specialized in teaching Italian as a second language.
It was founded by a group of teachers who decided to create a new school that corresponded to their idea of teaching and learning in a family atmosphere where all students are involved from day one while at the same time deepening the formal aspects of language and grammar.
The school is located in the centre of Verona, a few minutes’ walk from the main square (Piazza Bra with its famous Arena), and other important monuments as well as popular restaurants, bars, etc.

The first lesson every day is based on topics related to grammar, with the second half of the morning classes being focused on oral expression while discussing aspects of Italian culture - an important part of integrating into your new life in Verona. This is the ideal course for those learners who want to speak and participate in class, as Classe favours a methodology that keeps students engaged and active throughout the lesson.
You will benefit from the small class sizes (8 maximum), as this allows the teacher to give more of their attention to each individual student in the classroom.
The Intensive Standard Course consists of 20 Italian lessons of 55 minutes every week from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 with a break of 20 minutes at 10:50. With your first teacher you’ll concentrate on Italian grammar. In the second half of the morning your second teacher will concentrate on conversation about Italian culture. Teachers use modern teaching methods and they place high importance on communication and active participation of students.
The lessons are in small groups, divided by level, with a maximum number of 8 students (the average mumber is 4 or 5).
Students are of all ages and come from all over the world.
The levels of the courses correspond to the Common European framework of reference for languages.

Special note for 2024 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2024 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

Online Course is for all those who prefer to do an individual lesson of 55 minutes. The lessons aren’t only based around conversation but rather they aim to develop all four of the key skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading). Thanks to Skype/Zoom/Teams teachers are able to chat, exchange files, have video conferences and share links and films. Each lesson lasts 55 minutes.

"The host was very friendly, but: I thought I would be settled in a large room with air conditioning, as it appeared to be on the photo I was shown, but instead I had a small, stuffy, hot room, with a small high window for 4/5 weeks, and only moved to the bigger room on the 5th week. I thought there would be other students from the school in the apartment, but there were only other Italians."

“This school has incredible staff and atmosphere. They really prioritize getting you comfortable speaking Italian. The optional afternoon activities are great as well. I tried to do at least once per week. It was a great way to meet people in different class levels and practice speaking. I took 3 weeks of the beginner level course.”
“The teachers make an effort to only speak in Italian from day 1. This may be difficult for absolute beginners during the first few days, but I think it’s beneficial. You can always ask the teachers to clarify if you don’t follow what they are saying. ”

- Organization: Conversation classes - 11:10 to 13:00 where often mixed with different levels. I think this was due to the lack of students to form a full class.
- Facilities - a) 1 bathroom for each gender. Considering that we were in 20+ women, it was sometimes an issue to get a turn b) One of the classes (the one I stayed for 2 weeks) was directly connected to the administration desks and therefore quite noisy.”
