International Gateway Kelowna accepts ages 15-18 into this program starting weekly year round. Ages 11-14 can start any Monday from June-August only and must register in our Youth Vacation Program. Minimum 5 weeks are required. In order to enter one of IGK's partner high schools in Kelowna students must be at an Upper Intermediate level of English.

This program improves students’ English ability and customer service skills and this provides an easy transition to working in a world famous resort in B.C.
This 8-week program begins weekly and is open to EXPERIENCE CANADA/WORKING HOLIDAY AND WORK PERMIT VISA holders only.
Students receive a 30-minute seminar per week on customer service to get ready for their paid job placement. A minimum 6-month commitment is required at the resort.

Individual classesSingle individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 45 C$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
Comments about courses:Valid medical insurance which covers students' entire stay is required for all students. Available before arrival from IGK at a cost of Can$25/week. Proof of valid medical insurance will be checked on the first day of classes.
Guardianship is a requirement for all unaccompanied students under age 19. Initial fee Can$100 + Can$100 per month service care.
