Intensive English classes, including the TOEFL Preparation class, meet 5 class hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:10 pm, including a 15-minute morning break and a 45-minute lunch break.

ILI offers a semi-intensive program in English (ESL) in the evenings for international visitors, professional and career development students, continuing education students, au pairs, and childcare providers. There are six class levels, plus a TOEFL preparation class. Each English level in the evening is 12 weeks (24 weeks for TOEFL). The complete TOEFL preparation course is two sessions, but students may not need all 24 (evening) weeks. Students work at gaining English proficiency so they can reach their own academic, professional, or personal goals. All levels include:

Evening TOEFL classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 18:40 pm to 20:45 pm. The complete course is 24 weeks.

Semi-intensive Saturday TOEFL classes meet from 9:00 am to 1:05 pm, including a 20-minute break. The complete course is 40 weeks.
A private tutorial is the instruction of one student. The instruction can be designed to the individual’s needs and goals of learning English. Each session is a minimum of 2 instructional hours. Meeting days, times and places can be flexible.
A 14-semi-private tutorial is the simultaneous instruction of two students by one teacher in English. Both students need to be at the same level and follow the same curriculum which can be designed to meet the student's needs and goals. Each session is a minimum of 2 instructional hours. Meeting days, times and places can be flexible.

This class prepares for a career in teaching English. Advanced English level is required for enrollment and prior teaching experience is recommended. A new session starts every 8 weeks. Textbooks included in the price.
It prepares and equips trainees for a career in teaching English as a Second Language both in the United States and abroad. This 120-hour course covers every aspect of teaching, from lesson planning to materials design, from acquiring sound theoretical knowledge in both the English language and methodology to job placement and career management. This live course maximizes trainee-instructor interaction and allows for one-on-one attention and real-time feedback. Trainees practice teaching in both individual and group settings online and benefit from numerous opportunities to observe ILI’s online ESL classes and practising instructors.
Classes meet online using the Zoom platform every Tuesday and Thursday, with one Wednesday at course end, from 18:00 pm to 21:00 pm (58 classroom hours). There are an additional 62 hours of classroom observations, individual and group practice teaching outside of the class time, required reading, lesson, and materials preparation for a total of 120 hours for the course.
