Lessons normally take place from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 11:45. Each of the three morning lessons focuses on a specific area of language learning: grammar and language work, reading and listening, or communicative activities and speaking practice.
The aim is to provide you with the vocabulary and grammar required for effective communication where particular attention is paid on improving speaking and listening skills. The goal of the course is to strengthen your communication skills and help overcome your own speaking inhibitions.

Information for all courses offered by International Projects Junior Summer School
Live and socialise with your fellow students from many different countries on campus! The school uses several residential houses at Birks Grange on the Streatham campus. You can either stay in standard single rooms with shared toilet and shower facilities as well as in ensuite single rooms.
A safe is not available in the residence, but you will get a key/key card to lock your room. Also, the supervisors live in the Residence and are available for any inquiries. On campus public payphones and a launderette with coin-operated washing and drying machines help to ensure that your stay is comfortable.
You’ll get full board accommodation that includes breakfast, warm lunch and dinner. All meals are taken in the self-service school refectory. They also cater for vegetarians and special diets e.g. gluten free, lactose free and halal. Please advise at least 14 days prior arrival about any special diet.
