School chain: InTuition provides a language learning package with a twist! Each student learns and lives with their own personalised host tutor. Students are matched with a host tutor based on their individual learning style and language goal. This tutor guides them through their own tailor-made course. Outside the classroom, students will follow the general pattern of the host family’s life to experience how natives use their language in daily interactions. There are organised activities with the host tutor that will stimulate the students' use of the language in a learning environment. Students can choose from one of the following courses; general English, professional and business English, Exam English, academic English courses, Youth learner programme. InTuition also offers Foreign Language courses in Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch and French.

Package: The programme consists of individual classes, self-study time using InTuition’s online learning platform and a homestay living arrangement. Also included is a complementary level assessment, a 30-minute introductory virtual session with their tutor before arrival, free transfers from the local station, personalised study material and student portal access. There are regular progress reports, and at the end of the course there is a full report and an online certificate of completion. Adult programmes will include two activities per week, whilst there are three weekly activities in the young learner programme.

Facilities: All the host families provide students with full board accommodation with a private study bedroom and free wifi.

Learning methodology: InTuition’s teaching methodology follows the individualistic approach. This approach focuses on each student’s individual language goal and speed. There is greater personal interaction between the student and teacher. This builds self confidence and allows students to learn at their own pace.

Tutors: All host tutors are interviewed to make sure that they are able to provide a high level service for students. The junior hosts have been police checked, referenced and are fully vetted. There is regular training with the International House Teacher Training Programme to follow current teaching trends.
