Location: Islington Centre for English (ICE) London is located in the majestic and historic capital city of England, London. The school is housed in the lively and traditional neighbourhood of Angel, just south of Islington and within walking distance of much entertainment, global eateries, traditional pubs and more. There are also several attractions and places of interest a short distance from the school, including the Almeida Theatre, the Angel Comedy Club, Culpeper Community Garden, Barnard Park and more.

Getting around: The school is a short 2-minute walk from Angel Underground station, ensuring London's central Picadilly Circus is under a 25-minute journey from the school via public transport.

Course selection: ICE London supplies a wide range of English courses over various schedules and intensities, suitable for students of all levels. In addition to General English taught in the morning, afternoon or evening, the school also supplies Evening Business English programmes and a range of Exam Preparation courses (IELTS, FCE, CAE).

Social and cultural: A city such as London provides many opportunities for schools to embrace social and cultural happenings throughout the year, as is the case with ICE London. Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 45 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

Visa Documents

Nationals from Singapore do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
