Location: Japanese Language Institute of Sapporo is on the North Island of Hokkaido, part of the wonderful country of Japan. There are two things that Soporro is famous for and these are its mountainous activities and its fabulous beer.

City attractions: Mount Okura Ski Jump Stadium is just 30 minutes by bus from the school, for those wanting to give this extreme sport a go. If relaxing with a cool beverage in your hand is more your thing, then look no further than the Sapporo Beer Museum, a former brewery of the area, a simple 45 minutes from the Japanese Language Institute of Sapporo by public transport.

Getting around: Japanese Language Institute has good transport links close by, with the well connected Maruyama Koen subway station just over a 10-minute walk from the premises, the perfect way to explore all that the city has to offer.

Course structure: The school has over 30 years of experience in teaching Japanese as a foreign language. The school offers both a short term and a long term course as well as a 3-week intensive course for the summer months.

Other comments I haven't experienced the course at the Japanese Language Institute of Sapporo as a very fast paced course. I still had a lot of free time which I really enjoyed! I was able to make many friends and have a lot of time to hang out with them while enjoying my stay in Sapporo.
