Location: The school is located in the Soma neighbourhood of downtown San Francisco. This area is in the northeast of the city, a short walk from the coast. There are museums, art galleries, shops, restaurants and bars all around the school.
Getting around the city: The Montgomery Subway Station is under five minutes by foot from the school building. Here, there are a number of lines stretching across the city. An alternative mode of transportation is the San Francisco tram service, and there is a well connected tram station, minutes from the school.
Local attractions: The centre of the city is a 12-minute tram ride from the nearby tram station to the school. The Yerba Buena Gardens is a short walk from Kaplan International Languages. Around this area is the Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling Center, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as well as the The Contemporary Jewish Museum. The north of the city is reachable by tram or subway for attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Ferry Building and Coit Tower.
