Getting around: The centre of the city is a 30-minute walk through the park, or around 20 minutes by public transport. From here, there are lines that run to the centre of the city and to surrounding areas of Auckland.
Ferry Terminal: The Downtown Ferry terminal is 30 minutes by public transport from Kaplan School in Auckland. This is a popular activity for locals and tourists alike, as there are trips to the surrounding islands including Waiheke Island and Rakino Island.

This course prepares you for using English in an academic environment. You will develop your core language skills and learn strategies required for academic success such as note-taking, essay planning, presentations, etc.
This Intensive English course consistes of the General English course combined with 7 lessons of online teacher led study session plus 8 Specific Skills Lessons tailored to meet your specific learning needs coming to a total of 35 lessons per week. The content focuses on reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation through an integrated skills approach. Students will also have access to K+ Online complementary learning material as well as access to teacher-led study sessions with guidance and monitoring and access to K+ Online Extra additional learning materials for self‑directed study.
This course allows students to improve their English while still leaving time for sightseeing and leisure during their stay. Not suitable for student visa holders. Maximum 17 weeks of study allowed. For visitors visa holder the maximum study time is 3 months, 12 weeks.
