Location: Kaplan International Languages, San Diego, is in the Gaslamp Quarter of the city, which is centrally located in the city. The area is popular for its nightlife, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and nightclubs for evening activities.
Public transportation: The city has a well connected tram line that runs along the coast, and around the circumference of its core. Most of the central stations are within a 15-minute radius of the school. The San Diego Central Train Station is 20 minutes from the school, for trips further afield. There is an excellent bus service around the city, and there are lots of bus stops near the school. The school is a short walk from the ferry port, where students can ride across to Coronado.
Local attractions: Due to its location within the city, the majority of San Diego’s central activities are walkable from the school. San Diego has a sweeping coast line, and La Jolla Cove is a good spot to visit. It is possible to visit from the school by tram and bus in around an hour and a half.
