Location: The language school is situated in Whittier College, which is near the Los Angeles border. It is to the southeast of the city centre. The centre of Whittier has a number of eateries and shops, which is a short walk from the school.

Getting around: The centre of Los Angeles is an hour and 20 minutes from the school, with no direct route. There is a metrolink, Norwalk/ Santa Fe Springs, 20 minutes by bus from the school. From here, it is possible to take a train to the centre of the city.

Local attractions: Disneyland Park is just over half an hour from the school by car. The other attractions are mainly located within the centre of the city. The Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory are 45 minutes away by car from Kaplan.
