Location: Kaplan International Languages is situated close to the Washington neighbourhood, in the north of Huntington Beach. The centre of the area is a short walk from the school, and has a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Getting around: The centre of Huntington Beach is a 25-minute car ride from the school. Here students can visit the Huntington Beach Pier, the International Surf Museum and Huntington State Beach.
Local attractions: The attractions in the city are scattered around, and mainly consist of coastal activities. The Bolsa Chica State Beach with its Marine Conservation area is around 20 minutes by car from the school. Balboa Pier is in NewPort Beach, which takes about 30 to 40 minutes by car depending on the time of day. The Hunting Central Park East is under 25 minutes from the school entrance by public transport.
School facilities: Situated on the campus of Golden West College, the students can enjoy the college's facilities like its library, career and tutoring centres, and cafeteria. Also available are sports facilities such as tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a basketball court.
