The Kea Programme is designed to instil a “growth mindset” in the students and facilitate well-rounded development. The Kea methodology has been created in line with the UNICEF Life Skills framework to empower young adults to create their success.
The Kea programme encompasses 15 life skills categorised into five themes: Personal Development, Employability, Learning, Active Citizenship and Wellness.
Core subjects during the programme:
Entrepreneurship, Finance & Investment, Leadership, Public Speaking & Presentation, Networking &Communication, Time management & Productivity, Emotional Intelligence, Global Sustainability, Social responsibility, Inclusion & Diversity, Social & Charitable enterprises, Creative Studies, Research Techniques, Learning Techniques, Memory Techniques, Career Design, Healthy Living & Nutrition, Mindfulness, Meditation & Breathing, Self-Defence & Sports (a variety of sports during holiday courses)
All Students will complete the following projects while on the programme to excel in them:
- Business Plan Presentation.
- Ted Talk on Global Sustainability or Social Responsibility.
- Deliver a Social or Charitable Project.
KEA Academy uses various learning techniques to facilitate interactive learning through; core classes, workshops, projects, events, extraordinary visionary speakers, evening activities, excursions and sports. In addition, our Programmes are designed annually by experts to represent current global affairs and developments.
The Director of Studies at Kea Academy is a Cambridge, Oxford and Harvard graduate with extensive entrepreneurial and corporate experience with a passion for modern education. Our dedicated Director of Studies is responsible for developing the educational programme and selecting Cambridge and Oxford alumni to teach the courses.
