Chichén Itzá is a family-run school that offers an immersive learning experience with certified and experienced Mexican teachers.
Location: Chichén Itzá Language School Playa del Carmen is located in the coastal resort town and vibrant Playa Del Carmen, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The school is housed in the town centre, close to several eateries, amenities and local attractions. The beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen are only a 20-minute walk from the school's front doors.
Course selection: In addition to General Spanish courses taught in groups, Chichén Itzá Language School also supplies private tuition, which can be taken in conjunction or separately from a General Spanish programme.
Social and cultural: The school encourages students to make the most of their time in the Mayan Riviera, regularly promoting excursions and activities for students to enjoy. Such excursions and activities can include tours to the Riviera Maya and the Yucutan Peninsula, Salsa lessons, Scuba Diving, Mexican cooking classes and volunteer work.

Offering total immersion into the Spanish language through private or group classes. With special and progressive methodology, no matter your age or level of Spanish you’ll hear, see, and feel the Spanish language in its natural environment. All classes are taught by experienced and certified Mexican Teachers, they are energetic and interested in sharing their passion for language and the Mexican culture.
You can decide how many hours do you want to take per day, we are flexible with the schedules that you choose. Private classes, can start from 8 am until 6 pm, from Monday to Friday.

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 400 MXN. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

“The two week intensive classes were rigorous and engaging. Small classes of 3-6 people gave each of us plenty of opportunities to apply our language skills. Alex was an attentive teacher while immersing us into the language, culture, current events, etc. I am very pleased with my progress and the experience. Alex' wife and daughter were also a great help and so kind. Big thanks to Javier for the bachata lessons, too!”
