The Russian Intensive Course from the Liden & Denz Language Centre represents the opportunity to undertake a commitment of 25 lessons per week at your current ability level.

Afternoon sessions will be dedicated exclusively to conversation and other communication skills, rather than working on the grammar elements of the course that are taught in the morning lessons.

As a way of supporting students’ integration into Russian society, the course also features a significant amount of content on Russian culture, politics and social attitudes - all of which will help you understand your surroundings more in-depth.

Lessons based on interaction and communication in reduced group sizes make this one of the academy’s most popular and in-demand courses. There are 20 classes to enjoy every week while learning how to manage a wide range of situations while using the Russian language.

The course is structured in a way that after every 4 weeks, the same modules are repeated but with added depth and complexity, such as additional vocabulary. This school offers prices that decrease in relation to how many weeks you sign up for - meaning that a longer commitment can reduce your fees.

This Russian grammar module aims to systematise your knowledge of the Russian language, helping you to build a mental map of forms, functions and uses.

In this module we immerse ourselves in Russian culture and history. An interactive and entertaining course on Russian history, culture and religion with the aim of cultural and linguistic immersion. Our charismatic course leader will link important events and historical figures with important milestones in the development of the Russian language.

Russian Culture and History can only be booked together with a Russian group or individual course. The module is only offered in St.Petersburg.

The Russian phonetics module focuses on word and sentence stress, intonation, and on reading rules. You will also be introduced to techniques and tactics to help you practise difficult sounds. This is also done with the help of tongue twisters and singing.

This course allows students to focus on their specific language needs.

Exam fee not included (approximately EUR 150).

With the TRKI exam for Russian as a foreign language, you will receive a state-recognised Russian language certificate after successfully passing the exam. TRKI exams are available for every language level, with 6 levels of difficulty to choose from. The TRKI exam is the only state-recognised exam of Russian as a foreign language.

Liden & Denz is a licensed Russian examination centre for the TRKI exam. The written part is written online and takes between 90 minutes and 4 hours, depending on the level of difficulty. The oral exam lasts between 30 and 90 minutes, is recorded in Zoom format and then evaluated. It is possible to complete both parts in one day.

TRKI Russian exams are conducted individually and can be scheduled at short notice. If you pass the exam, you will receive your electronic certificate, issued by the Herzen St.Petersburg State Pedagogical University, within one week of passing the exam. A failed exam can be repeated as often as you wish.

This module provides useful Russian language skills for everyday business situations such as making an appointment or holding a meeting, as well as, at a higher level, presentations and tips for negotiations. This module is ideal for professionals who want to expand their business vocabulary and successfully improve their skills for establishing and maintaining contacts with Russian business partners.

Russian for Business can only be booked together with a group or individual course. The module is only offered in St.Petersburg and Moscow.
