Location: Linguatime School of English Sliema is located in the naturally beautiful resort town of Sliema, on the Meditteranean island of Malta. The school is right on the seafront, in front of the beach. The closest bus stop is 30 seconds away. Sliema is surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, diving schools and gardens. There are many amenities and sites of interest within walking distance of the school.
Social and cultural: The school provides an active excursion and activities programme for all students. Activities arranged by the school can include visiting the Island of Gozo, Comino Blue Lagoon Cruise & a full-day Malta Tour, including Valletta and Mdina.
School facilities: The school facilities include 16 classrooms equipped with Interactive White Boards, an outdoor area, a student T.V & Board Games lounge, vending machines, coffee and a lending library.

“If you would like to practice "writing", you can ask your teachers to correct your essay. They're happy to help you outside regular class hours.
If you clearly inform of your weak points, the teachers can correct you during a class as well. They were really attentive.”
Insider tips about what future students should not miss Depending on the length of stay, I recommend you to decide what you focus during the course and tell it your teacher in advance. You can not improve all factors in the language with a short period. However, if you concentrate on one point, it's easier to improve and realise your achievement. I also advise you to learn at least the basic knowledge of the grammar before taking a course. As it affects a lot to the improvement, I recommend you to study the basic language knowledge by yourself before leaving Japan.

Other comments Since I attended a course in winter, I didn't know the atmosphere during the summer time. The atmosphere is totally different, according to the teachers.
During the winter, it was very calm and quiet. There were 8 classmates in my group. I assume it's more lively in summer.

Other comments I can only recommend the school. The teachers are very qualified and also extremely nice. They know exactly what the students need or where their weaknesses are and this is immediately supported. I was in this school for 3 weeks and I plan to go back to this school soon. My overall rating is 9 out of 10.

Other comments Excellent school in terms of price / quality. In general Malt is a great place for learning. Teachers are mostly Maltese, who sometimes speak with an accent, but there are also British teachers. Textbook: New English File. Each textbook is for 7 weeks. If you take an Intensive course for this duration you can pass from one level to another. If you want to reach this result you need to carry out all the exercises and ask your teacher the questions if something is not clear.

Other comments The schedule doesn't make it very easy to enjoy the city, I had some gaps in mine. I recommend that you add afternoon classes after you arrive there. First try some days just with morning classes.

Other comments Friendly, encouraging and positive teachers. Class size was satisfactory (11-13). Staff was very helpful. Students in November were between 25-35 years of age and as a 60+ I felt comfortable in the group. Accommodation was close to the school but could have been cleaned more regularly. I would recommend it and go there again.
