Incredibly warm atmosphere. I felt immediately welcomed, as if I had been there for the umpteenth time. The lessons start at 9.30 am and are very relaxed. There were only four of us in the course and the teacher was very patient with us :-) The classroom was air-conditioned, which was great at 36 degrees, but not a given with the current electricity prices. There was something for everyone at the afternoon events. A great, somehow almost familiar school with very 'colourful', diverse, international students!

I am delighted. Everything was perfect. I can only recommend this school. The teachers are of an exceptionally high standard, directly overqualified for a language school, but this benefits the students. Well-balanced lessons - a good mix of speaking, listening and grammar. I made great progress and the guided excursions with Laura were first class. The secretary's office responds to all requests. I would very much like to come back.

It is a fantastic school, I loved the facilities, I was very grateful that they turned on the heating every day, despite not being very cold days. The atmosphere is wonderful, they had lots of details with the students, like laying Easter eggs and the "Colomba pasquale" another day. The visits, great. The teacher was great and everyone was very friendly.

The teachers and the management team are great. The rooms are bright, friendly and clean. The school always offers mineral water during class. For free. And every day at 11 o'clock there is a meeting of all students and teachers in the "salone" to drink an espresso or tea, talk to each other and find out about excursions and city tours.
Insider tip: The excursion to the Langhe is highly recommended.

Quality of teaching / language progress: Very good, motivated and motivating teachers. Plus a great management team that takes care of everything and everyone. Always helpful and friendly. Everyone who works there is interested in good, success-oriented teaching. You can learn Italian very well here.
Other comments It's simply a great place to learn Italian.

It is a small, family school with excellent teachers (at least the ones I had). They offer high quality afternoon activities (some free and some for an additional fee). The library, where you can borrow books and DVDs as well as the area for self-study is quite small. However, they allow you to use the classrooms when they are free.
Review details
Quality of teaching / language progress: The 50+ course was excellent, only 4 students in class, based on Italian culture and with an excellent teacher. The additional week was also very good. Although with more students (9), another excellent teacher who encouraged to participate in class and the material used was very adequate.
Other comments Being a small school, it is ideal for beginners or an intermediate level. They might not really have the advanced level or they might call it advanced when it really isn't.

Support goes far beyond the classroom. The teachers and the secretary's office provide advice on how to optimise your development. They give tips on podcasts etc. on how you can improve after the course with a little initiative or at least - until the next course - not forget everything again.
Insider tip: Temporary exhibitions at the Museum of Photography
Review details
Quality of teaching / language progress: For me, 4 hours a day was a bit much. However, the teacher took my waning attention span into account in the 4th lesson.
Other comments All the staff were very, very helpful. The ‘Italian only rule’ was challenging for beginners but it helps you to progress.

Everyone at the school spoke Italian and Italian only, which is very challenging for a total beginner, but great if you expect total immersion and need to learn Italian fast. I found teachers's very professorial and the course is very well designed and tough!
Insider tip: I booked a 30-hour full immersion course, but due to availability I could only book 25 hours (4 group lessons in the morning + 1 hour with a private tutor in the afternoon). As the course is extremely intensive, I think the deal I got was much better than the one I chose. The private tutor was great at explaining things that I didn't understand and then I still had enough time to rest and study in the evening.
Review details
Other comments I studied only 1 week at the school. If you want to start speaking Italian, I I would definitely recommend to take at least 2-3 weeks of this intensive course.
