Location: LSI Boston is in between Chinatown and Downtown Boston. It is well situated within the city, close to a good transportation area and not far from the city centre.
Travelling around Boston: The school is just over 5 minutes by foot from the South Station. This transit hub has a large number of train services, bus routes and the red subway line running through it. The central city area is a 15-minute walk from the LSI Boston.
Main features: Boston Commons is 10 minutes from the school. This is a large recreational space with Public Gardens. The central features of the city are all walkable from the school building. To the south west of Boston is Fenway Park stadium, which also has the Museum of Fine Arts and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum close by. This is just under 30 minutes from LSI Boston.
Course: English is taught in a range of options in LSI Boston. There are general, intensive, mini groups and afternoon classes for those wanting to learn in a group. Individual courses are possible in a number of formats to fit in around the student’s schedule. Exam preparation courses are designed for the TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge, IELTS and SAT/GMAT exams. These will help students pass an English test for academic or professional purposes.
School facilities: At LSI Boston, students can enjoy the student lounge and roof deck to socialise with other students after class and practise their English. Students are able to use the school computers to continue their studies after class. A fridge and a microwave are available for those who wish to stay at the school during their lunch break.
Chain school: As a group, Language Studies International (LSI) has schools located in 7 countries throughout the world. These countries include France, the USA, England, New Zealand, Switzerland and Canada.
For over 55 years, LSI has been supplying tuition to adults, juniors and teachers. Their schools are accredited internationally by such accreditors as EAQUALS, Accet, the British Council, English New Zealand, Languages Canada, and more.
