Location: This is a great opportunity to really immerse yourself with the local people and test your newly learnt Spanish. Rising up from the centre of Jaén, tucked away in the region of Andalusia, is the Church of the Assumption, the magnificent Renaissance-style Cathedral, which is only a short walk away from the language school of Maestro Miguel de la Hoz Spanish School. The city, although small, is not void of things to do and you definitely will not be twiddling your thumbs in your spare time.
Local attractions: There is a Moorish fortress, Castillo de Santa Catalina, 40 minutes from the school that overlooks the whole region or relax in one of the local cafes or bars packed with southern Spanish delights.
Teaching style: Maestro Miguel de la Hoz Spanish School describes its learning methodology as a communicative approach, meaning students will use the language in everyday scenarios within the classroom. This allows the class to get behind the true meaning of the language and with this they can both apply and replicate it outside of tuition to strengthen their retention.
Course structure: Along with the general language lessons, also available at the school is the option to combine the course with business special purpose classes, which can either be in a group environment or in private classes with one or more people. It is a certified SIELE Centre.

Generally course material is distributed free to students and will stay in student property.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 35 €. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

If a bank holiday falls on a weekday there is no refund nor are missed lessons recuperated. This is the case for the majority of language schools.
