Location: Metrocultura SL is very central in the city of Barcelona. The school is close to Universitat, which is a short walk to the city centre at Plaça de Catalunya. Around the neighbourhood, there are plenty of commercial shops, international restaurants and an array of bars for students to frequent during their stay.
Getting around: The school’s location is a transportation hub in Barcelona. There is a metro station in the Plaça Universitat, which is connected to both the red and purple lines. In Plaça de Catalunya, there is a central train station, which reaches nearby cities in Catalonia. There is also a metro service with the red and green lines running through it.
Local attractions: Plaça Espana, Arc de Triomf and Sagrada Familia are all under 10 minutes from the school entrance on the metro. All the features of the city that are found in the centre of Barcelona are walkable from the school, including the Casa Mila and Catedral de Barcelona.
Course structure: The school offers group Spanish classes, private lessons for students to do alone or with a friend of the same level as well as a combination of the two.
Teaching style: The teachers at Metrocultura carry out a continuous and individual assessment on each student’s progress, and provide a home-away-from-home atmosphere to create the perfect learning environment.

SPANISH IN SMALL GROUPS
Dedicated to teaching Spanish for more than 30 years in the heart of Barcelona, Metrocultura are happy to hold quality courses led by native teachers for all levels, in small groups of five students on average. This way you will have higher interaction with your teacher and classmates, which will improve your attention and fluency.
IMMERSIVE PROGRAMME
Their Spanish tuition includes an immersive methodology, striking a balance between grammar and conversation. Whatever your level, the classes are interactive and engaging. The learning programme is structured under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and observes the guidelines by the Instituto Cervantes.
You have a varied list of Spanish courses to choose from. The intensive courses take place daily from Monday to Friday, including 10, 15 or 20 hours per week. On the other hand, the extensive courses take place mostly twice a week and include a smaller amount of hours: 3, 4 or 6 per week. Private tuition is advisable to deal with specific goals, whether academic or professional.
