Location: NCG - New College Group is to the east of the centre of Manchester, close to Piccadilly Gardens. It is just outside the Northern Quarter of the city, which has a bohemian feel with boutiques, restaurants and a selection of live music bars. The central retail district is a 10-minute walk from the school. The National Football Museum is also found in this area.
Getting around Manchester: The Piccadily Gardens Tram Stop is across the road from the school. The purple and blue line both run from this station. It reaches the centre of Manchester in five minutes. By foot, the centre of the city is 11 minutes. The school is in a good position for bus stations, for those who prefer to use this mode of transportation.
Things to do in Manchester: The Science and Industry Museum, Manchester Art Gallery and John Rylands Research Institute and Library are all located in the heart of Manchester. These are all around a 15-minutes walk from NCG. Old Trafford Football Stadium and IWM North Museum are both 30 minutes away by tram from the school.
