Location: Norwich Study Centre is located in the medieval English city of Norwich. A city with a great history, Norwich was the first English city to be acclaimed as a UNESCO City of Literature and houses one of the largest outdoor markets in Britain. The school is located centrally, with many eateries, restaurants, cafés and nighttime entertainment venues close by. Within walking distance of the school, students will find Norwich Castle, several high street stores, Mandell's Art Gallery and a cinema. The Norwich train station is a short 8-minutes walk from the school, with easy access to London via a 2-hour train journey.
Course selection: The school offers courses for all walks of life and needs. They have professional development programmes for Teachers, Content and Language Integrated Learning Services (CLIL) and Occupational English Test Preparation Programmes (OET). All of which are in addition to their numerous English courses for adults and young learners. General English programmes are available over various schedules and intensities, with specific programmes, in conjunction with cultural and work experiences, readily available throughout the year. IELTS and Cambridge preparation programmes are also available.
School facilities: The school's facilities offer everything a student may need to reach their language goals in a comfortable and friendly environment. These facilities include a computer lab, library, lounge area and a garden. All classrooms have ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

This practical course focuses on communication skills and the language needed to work effectively in a job in an English-speaking environment.
The aim of this course is to give you skills needed to get a job by helping with writing CVs, cover letters and job interviews. The course also focuses on:
• Customer care, dealing with customers effectively on the phone and face-to-face,
• Effective meeting skills, chairing and participating in meetings and understanding the psychological process of decision making
• Presentation skills, planning and organising a presentation using PowerPoint, and how to use voice and body language to get a message across effectively.

General English Standard course focuses on developing skills in the four core areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening. This course prepares you for the Cambridge exams with a combination of General English lessons and one-to-one Exam Preparation classes. In the mornings, students join the group General English class with international students: in the afternoons, students have 1-to-1 tuition with a Cambridge specialist teacher to prepare them for their Cambridge exam.
