Venue: Oxford Spires Junior Centre - Roehampton University is a junior summer camp located in a beautiful university campus setting, just outside of London. The University of Roehampton London campus covers 54 acres southwest of the city of London near Wimbledon and Richmond Park, south of the River Thames. The closest railway stations are Barnes and Putney on the Southwestern Line.

Course selection: During the summer months Oxford Spires Junior Centre - Roehampton University provides both immersive junior camps and day programmes for students aged 12 through 17. All programmes include 15 hours of English language tuition, a full social programme of activities and outings as well as one full-day excursion per week.

Oxford Spires Plus Options: All students can choose to participate in a supplementary afternoon programme, for an additional fee, which consists of 6 hours per week on the chosen activity. At the University of Roehampton London, the Oxford Spires Plus Options include: IELTS Preparation; Exam Skills; and Public Speaking & Interview Techniques.

Social and cultural: The programmes at Oxford Spires Junior Centre - Roehampton University are filled with social opportunities for students to get to know their peers whilst practising their English. Afternoon and evening activities included in the social programmes can include sports, music, dance, drama, karaoke nights, movie nights, talent/fashion shows, walking tours and more.

Accommodation: Residential students stay on campus in single, en-suite rooms. They are housed on a full-board basis and take their meals in the campus dining facilities.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
