Location: Oxford Spires Junior Centre Cambridge is located in the enchanting, student-friendly and historic city of Cambridge, England. These junior summer programmes are housed at Anglia Ruskin University, which has a profound history as an educational institute. The school is a short walk from the city centre and has several of the city's eateries, sites, shops and attractions nearby. Such places of interest within walking distance of the school include the University Museum of Zoology, The Grand Arcade Commercial shopping centre, Parker's Piece Park and the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.
Course selection: In addition to the 15 hours of tuition included in the General English Summer programme, the Spires+ programme also provides an additional, optional and supplementary 6 hours of tuition on specific learning such as Exam Skills and IELTS Preparation.
Getting around: Cambridge city centre is within walking distance or a short bike ride from the school. The city is well-travelled via either of these transport methods, with taxi, bus and train services only necessary for long-distance travel.
School facilities: The school grounds house all a student needs in terms of on-site eating, sleeping, socialising and learning facilities. There is also a laundry service.
Accommodation: These junior programmes include single rooms accommodation with en-suite facilities. The accommodation is on campus within the Anglia Ruskin University campus. All accommodation is full-board (includes three meals daily).
Social and cultural: Varied weekly sports and leisure activity programmes are included in these junior summer programmes.
