Location: PLUS Junior Centre Stirling is located in the historic Scottish city of Stirling. Housed on the university campus within the Airthrey Estate, the school is within walking distance of sites of interest such as the Wallace Monument, and is situated in an area of Scotland steeped in history. The historic old town of Stirling is home to one of Scotland's most famous and important castles, Stirling Castle. The school's campus is often referred to as one of the most beautiful in the UK due to its loch, hermitage woods, on-site castle, and expansive green spaces for walks and recreational activities.
School facilities: The school facilities are of a very high standard. Not only are the classrooms and on-site accommodation facilities noteworthy, but the grounds of the school also offer fantastic views and have excellent sporting and recreational facilities. On-site sporting facilities available to students include extensive indoor and outdoor facilities, a 50m Olympic-size swimming pool, a fitness centre and a dance studio. There are also several on-site shops and eateries.
Social and cultural: Each programme is full of afternoon and evening activities and excursions. Activities with PLUS Junior Centre Stirling can include karaoke, sports, such as football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis, movie nights, treasure hunts and much more. Excursions can include trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Trossachs National Park.
