If you prefer to learn Russian in a group and to receive maximum personal attention from your teacher at the same time, you may choose to take a Russian language course in a mini-group of 2-6 students. The apartment is located right in front of the school. Since the end of August, 2004, Privet! has been offering a new type of accommodation. This is a brand new apartment for students. It has two smaller rooms and one larger room. It also has two bathrooms and a common living area.
This flat has all modern conveniences, washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Once a week bed linen will be changed, the price includes also the cleaning service every Saturday or Sunday.

For those seeking more comfort and independence the school provides a choice of hotels and guesthouses at different prices and offering various service levels. There is a pretty wide choice of Kaliningrad hotels. There are many small private hotels offering both good prices and quality service especially in low tourist seasons. In this respect, the cost of living in Kaliningrad is substantially cheaper than the one in Moscow or St. Petersburg. The best choice would be living in one of the small guesthouses in nice areas of the city with a good price-to-service ratio.

To stay there longer you will need to get a new visa in your country. The school can make a visa invitation for you for 90 days. But it will be a study visa for short term courses, and it’s strictly forbidden to have a job in Russia with this type of visa.
