Reggio Lingua
- This is a school of Italian language and culture for foreigners of every nationality and age who want to learn Italian in Italy. The school is located in Reggio Emilia, a welcoming, quiet small town not far from Bologna in the Emilia Romagna region and close to numerous places of historical interest – Bologna, Mantua, Verona, Florence, Venice among them. Reggio Emilia is the ideal context to learn Italian. It offers a wide range of cultural activities in every season of the year including dance, music, poetry and theater festivals.
Besides the language lessons, the school suggests some free time activities in order to enrich the students’ stays in Italy and allow them to participate in the different aspects of the local and national culture. Some of these activities are: afternoons ...ns together to prepare homemade pasta, visits to Parmesan cheese producers, to wineries and balsamic vinegar producers, excursions to the near towns (Bologna, Parma, Milan, Florence, Venice…).

Covid-19 related security measures that are taken by Reggio Lingua
To ensure our students a safe study stay at Reggio Lingua, the school has implemented the following measures and equipment on respect of all the anti-contagion procedures indicated by the Italian Ministry of Health.
The number of students per class is set according to one meter distance between each person. When a distance of two meter is guaranteed, wearing a face mask during the lesson is not mandatory.
Measures taken:
- self-declaration stating that, before his/her arrival at school, the student was not exposed to the danger of COVID-19 infection and that he/she had no symptoms attributable to COVID-19 neither on that day nor during the previous days;
- student's temperature is checked automatically every day;
- in school environments, the use of face mask is mandatory while walking around;
- hand sanitizer is available at the entrance, in the bathrooms and in every classroom;
- the classrooms, desks, chairs, door handles, light switches, bathrooms/toilets is cleaned and sanitized at the end of every lesson with disinfectants based on chlorine or alcohol.

If a student shows signs of Covid-19, the schools Director or an authorized teacher will immediately accompany the student to a separate and isolated room and let him/her sit down. We will call an ambulance and we will wait for its arrival; then the medical staff will take care of him/her.
