Student opinions about Rennert International, New York

Liked
As I requested to lower my class, the school changed it without any problems. The teachers explain well. The activity calender is very useful. You can go to some events cheaper. (In my case, "Cirque du Soleil")
Insider tips about what future students should not miss It's very convenient, as Grand Central Station is within walking distance. The school has two offices. A main office has a student room and PCs though, another has less facilities. You can't choose which building you study in. It's totally up to your luck.

Initially, I was overcharged for the course, not according to the price list on the school's website. Neither the school nor the intermediary company noticed this error, and the intermediary treated my explanation as an attempt to trick them into lowering the price.

Questions and answers about Rennert International

  • In 16 weeks, students can gain one full level. However, the speed of progress varies quite a bit from student to student. Some students gain a level earlier than that, and some students progress more slowly.

  • Yes, each single room also has a private bathroom.
    Lisa S. Schiwy, LanguageCourse.net - Sep 09, 2022
  • This programme combines English classes (2+ weeks) with a part-time unpaid internship (4-14 weeks) so that students can maximize their learning experience. It also includes 2 seminars (resume building and interview skills) and a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship.
No school confirms the possibility of being hired at a company. This depends solely and exclusively on the company where the internship takes place, the student's CV, and especially the skills they will demonstrate during the internship.
    Antonio Zoppo, LanguageCourse.Net - Nov 11, 2022
  • Yes, the Summer Plus! - Day programme offers lessons only for students between the ages of 13 and 17.

FAQ about Rennert International,

  • Language learning is not limited to lessons in the classroom. In addition to your main course and group classes with native speakers, all students can attend additional group classes: reading club, etc. These classes are language practice. The school is continuously offering extra activities such as Outdoor Social Activities, monthly parties, open classes and workshops.
Maksym Sterpul, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Apr 14, 2023
  • For joining the TOEFL class, students should have at least upper-intermediate level, as this class is rather difficult and they want to ensure that students get the best learning experience. In case his level is lower intermediate he can join the Intensive English 20 programme. It is a standard English course and it will help him improve his level.

  • West village doesn't accept students who are under the age of 18 and the other residences don't take bookings that are less than 4 weeks in the summer. We would be happy to offer her homestay accommodation.
