Location: Samiad Summer School takes place in Wells Cathedral Independent School during the summer months. It is south of Bristol, in a small city called Wells. The school is close to the centre, a short walk from the cathedral, where there are restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, supermarkets and shops.
Getting around: There are buses to nearby cities including Bath and Bristol. Bristol is a one-hour and 20 minute ride, and Bath is around an hour and 25 minutes by bus. The majority of the attractions in the city are walkable from the school including The Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace & Gardens and Vicar's Close.
Summer intensive English course: This English package concentrates on the students' use of general English. There are group classes in the morning with the other students. The afternoon classes are in a reduced size and follow on from the morning classes. The package includes accommodation and a full after class activity schedule.
Extra programmes: Students can take part in the morning English classes and enjoy the afternoons doing golf, tennis or as a multi-activity package. Students will join the after lessons social activity programme with the other students.
