Location: Sicilia Italian Language School is located in the capital of the Sicilian region of Italy, Palermo. Housed in the heart of the city, a 5-minute walk from several museums, bars, restaurants and attractions, the school is well situated to assist students in reaching their language goals, whilst enjoying Sicilia and Palermo to their fullest. Popular attractions such as the Norman Palace, the Cattedrale di Palermo and Piazza Quattro Canti, are all within walking distance of the school's front doors.
School facilities: The school's facilities are commendable, including everything students may need to reach their language goals in a comfortable and motivating environment. These facilities include a library, free after-class access to language learning software, a movie room, a garden and free WIFI. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, electronic whiteboards, air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Accreditations and Associations: The school is accredited by the University of Siena, is a registered exam centre for the DITALS exams, and is certified for teaching the Italian language to foreigners.
Course selection: Course selection includes something for students of all levels, from complete beginners to Fluency. Courses are taught in groups, with additional Private lessons able to be taken in conjunction with a group course or independently.
Accommodation: Accommodation through the school is an option in Homestay, Private Apartment, Bed & Breakfast and Shared Apartment facilities.

“-Very competent and friendly teachers”
“-Beginner's class was not really suitable for complete beginners, as you can end up in class with people who have already been in the beginner's class for 2-3 weeks and thus have no possibility to learn with a logical structure

-Working with photocopies from an Italian book, some of which are difficult to read
-On the last day, a film with Italian subtitles, where beginners do not really have a chance to understand everything.”

“The teacher Lala was very good”
“There was no placement test. There was no book, only often poor photocopies. There were no activities offered either. The staff (except the teacher) did not seem very competent. There were no desks, only chairs with folding tables, but we had to repair them ourselves first, as most of them were defective.”
