How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school
Location: Tunisia is in the North West of the African continent almost touching the tip of Europe. Tunis is the capital city of Tunis, in the North of Tunisia, is an important port to Europe, with boats departing to both Sicily and Genoa from La Goulette. Tunis has a very old past and the most interesting way to understand this is to visit, what is called the Medina of Tunis, or the old town of Tunis. The area was originally formed in the 600s and has had various influences throughout the time period to reach how it looks today. The majority of the forms are a reflection of the Hafsid period with mosques, palaces and mausoleums among the 700 monuments spread throughout the area.
Getting around: Smart Business Consulting (SBC) is a language school and business learning portal in Tunis a mere 20-minute walk from the Medina. The school is very close to the subway stop, Ibn Rachiq, on the black central line which allows you to easily make connections to other zones to explore all the city has to offer. If the subway is not your thing then there are plenty of bus stops close by connecting to all parts of the city. For those wanting to dip their toes in the Mediterranean sea then the wonderful beach town of Hammamet is a perfect location. The town is two hours on the train from Tunis, leaving at the main train station Gare de Tunis, just 12 minutes from the school. Smart Business Consulting is in a great position in Tunis, the perfect base for exploring all this ancient city has to offer.
Course structure: Whilst Arabic is the official language of Tunis, there are 2 other primary languages, French and Tunisian. These languages are taught in schools and cities throughout the country are encouraged and able to communicate in all three of these. Smart Business Consulting school offers 3 options for a language course: private lessons, a professional course and a VIP mini-group. All these courses are available in both Arabic and French.
School facilities: The school building has modern facilities in all the classrooms including electronic whiteboards, air conditioning for the summer, heating for the winter and some of the rooms have a smartboard. The facilities do not stop once outside the classroom as the school encourages its students to continue learning in their spare time through other provisions they offer. The school has available for its students a kitchen, a computer room with its own language learning software, a balcony, a bilingual library, free coffee and free wifi.
