Location: Spanish Language Center, S.L. is located in the stunning and coastal Spanish city of Marbella. Housed in a modern 3-storey building, in one of the most emblematic areas of the city centre, Spanish Language Center offers students a great chance to reach their language goals from the beauties of the Andalusian coastline. With the beach, many shops, restaurants, cafés and beachside attractions, all within a short walk of the school, students have all they need to have a great time in Marbella within proximity of the school.
School facilities: The facilities and teaching methods of the school are of the highest standards, as is confirmed through their accreditation from Instituto Cervantes. Facilities include a computer lab, library, lounge area, terrace, games room, free after-class access to language learning software and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. Course selection: Course selection includes something for students of all levels, with short-term and Academic Year programmes available. General courses are available in groups or privately, with smaller groups options also available for travelling companions. This course includes 5 exam preparation lessons per week.
According to Spanish law if a person would like to acquire the Spanish nationality should pass a Spanish language exam, the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE A2 level) and an exam of constitutional and cultural knowledge of Spain, the CCSE (Prueba de Conocimientos constitucionales y socioculturales de España). If you are from a Spanish speaking country, you have to pass only the CCSE exam.
You can choose among the different language courses SLC offers to get DELE A2, in addition to lessons focused on the acquisition of the necessary knowledge to pass CCSE, such as culture, economics, history, geography, government, etc.

This course includes 5 exam preparation lessons per week.
Specially designed course to prepare the exams leading to obtaining Spanish as a Foreign Language diplomas (DELE). This course consists of 5 lessons focused on reinforcing concrete contents of every exam, as well as the structure and division, though practical classes and specific materials for DELE. This course prepares students to pass the DELE exam in its six different levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is an official certificate that certifies the grade of mastery and competence of the Spanish language and it is granted by Instituto Cervantes in behalf of the Education, Culture and Sports Ministry of Spain. This certificate has an indefinite term and is internationally recognized by public and private teaching systems and institutions, international cooperation agencies, chambers of commerce, official schools of languages, foundations, companies and other entities such as Spanish Confederation of Employers’ Organizations (CEOE). This certificate is essentially important for those students who would like to study in any Spanish University, as well as those who want to work in a Spanish speaking country.

SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals.
Is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the Universidad Autónoma de México, the Universidad de Salamanca and the Universidad de Buenos Aires. These institutions guarantee the standards for quality and good practices in the creation of the tests and the use of diverse linguistic varieties in the Hispanic world.
SIELE certifies the degree of proficiency for the Spanish language with four tests: Reading and listening comprehension, Written expression and interaction and Spoken expression and interaction; the exam also takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

These apartments are only available for students over 18 years old. They are located in the centre of the city (5 minutes walking distance from the school). These apartments are strictly chosen and controlled. There are apartments and studios of different sizes and characteristics according to the preferences of each student. These apartments are comfortably and furnished. No meals are included. However, the students have free access to a fully equipped kitchen in order to prepare meals for themselves. In addition, students will be provided with towels, bedding (sheets, blankets, etc.). Costs of gas, water, Wi-Fi, electricity and all taxes are included in the price as well as a weekly cleaning service (only in rooms and common areas).

For students over 16 years old who wish to live the truly Spanish life during their stay in Marbella. Living with a well-selected Spanish host family will enable the students to see and learn everything about the Spanish lifestyle as well as our rich culture and traditions. They will eat typical Spanish food, make friends, enjoy Spanish people and have an excellent opportunity to practise their newly acquired Spanish in real-life situations. The host families are located near the school (maximum 15 minute walking/bus distance). Students will be provided with towels, bedding (sheets, blankets, etc.). Most of the host families offer free Wifi for students.

The delivery of the keys will be only available from 12.00 to 22.00. An extra charge of EUR 20 will be applied for handover of keys services out of this time schedule.
These apartments are only available for students over 18 years old. They are located in the centre of the city (5 minutes walking distance from the school). These apartments are strictly chosen and controlled. There are apartments and studios of different sizes and characteristics according to the preferences of each student. These apartments are comfortably and furnished. No meals are included. However, the students have free access to a fully equipped kitchen in order to prepare meals for themselves. In addition, students will be provided with towels, bedding (sheets, blankets, etc.). Costs of gas, water, Wi-Fi, electricity and all taxes are included in the price as well as a weekly cleaning service (only in rooms and common areas).
