The intensive Spanish course leaves you all afternoon and evening to enjoy the endless offers of leisure and culture in Madrid. Since the school is in the heart of the city, you will be able to visit museums, palaces or exhibitions every day of the week, as well as stroll through Madrid’s parks or go out for tapas with your classmates or your Tandem Partner.

With 20 lessons per week included in the intensive Spanish course, progress in learning the Spanish language is gradual and constant; especially with absorption of the Spanish culture. But if you need training at a faster pace, you can complement it with private Spanish lessons. These are offered as a personalised study program focused specifically on your needs and interests, and during the times you choose. You can also book additional culture and leisure classes such as flamenco or Spanish guitar lessons, or lunch with your Spanish teacher in a trendy Madrid restaurant or more traditional restaurants nearby.

This course consists of 20 group lessons per week plus 10 private lessons per week plus 2 lessons in Spanish and Conversation from A2 level.

The combined Spanish courses are the perfect opportunity to learn the language in a quick and effective way that will help you prepare for your studies in Spain and Latin America. It is also ideal for those working in a job requiring speaking and negotiating in Spanish, allowing them the opportunity to learn specific vocabulary in the private classes of the combined course.

The neighborhoods of Madrid represent the essence of life in this vibrant city. The course consists of 20 lessons per week, 4 45-minute Spanish lessons each morning, and cultural activities in the afternoon such as visiting the neighborhood of Chueca, the neighborhood of Salamanca, the Madrid of the Austrias and the Borbones and other interesting locales.

If there is one thing Madrid is known for all over the world, it’s for the city's vibrant nightlife. Long and intense nights that you will have the chance to enjoy with this program designed for party lovers. In Madrid, there is nightlife on Mondays. And on Tuesdays. And on Wednesdays, Thursdays… Not to mention during the weekend.

You will go to the coolest discos, visit the Malasaña or Chueca neighborhoods, which are always awake, and you will have the chance to go eat some tapas at night in one of the most lively neighborhoods from a gastronomic point of view… Do you want to participate?

The "Spanish and Passion for Madrid’s Nightlife" course includes 20 lessons per week (4 lessons of 45 minutes per day) and 2 accompanied lessons by a specialist teacher-guide.

In order to enroll in this program, you must be at least 18 years old. It does not matter if you have previous knowledge of Spanish or not because the course is adapted to all levels. Moreover, you can join any Monday of the year, at your convenience.

Madrid is much more than the “Golden Triangle of Art”. Apart from the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia Museum and the Thyssen Museum, the city hides other little museums containing cultural treasures inside their walls which will delight you.

For example, the Sorolla Museum originated after the widow of the painter Joaquín Sorolla, Clotilde García del Castillo, willed her husband’s paintings to the Spanish state in order for them to on exhibit in a museum in his memory; to guarantee continuous access to his work in the future. The museum is located in the palace, which was his last home and studio, which makes the visit even more personal, and close to Sorolla.

The Lazaro Galdiano Museum is just as spectacular as the Sorolla; it has a wide and heterogeneous collection of the editor José Lázaro Galdiano inside its walls, which has been developed with an encyclopedic interest towards all the arts and related techniques. After his death, he donated it to the Spanish state together with his Spanish residency, which was the headquarters of his publishing house La España Moderna, along with a library of 20,000 volumes for the education and delight of future generations.

The Museum of Romanticism is located in a palace which recreates the daily life and costumes of the Bourgeoisie of the Romantic period, allowing us to discover how the society functioned in that historical period and also the main Spanish protagonists of this cultural movement. The museum originated from a donation of the paintings to the state, apart from pieces of furniture and personal effects of the II Marqués de la Vega-Inclán. More donations and deposits were added to the collection by personalities of the time.

If you want to enroll in the ‘Spanish and a Passion for the “Little Museums” Course’ you need to be at least 18 years of age. The course includes a package combining 20 lessons in Spanish per week (4 lessons a day of 45 minutes each) plus two visits to these little museums in Madrid – Sorolla Museum, Museum of Romanticism, Lazaro Galdiano, ...

TANDEM Madrid’s Extended Spanish course offers the same characteristics as the other Spanish intensive short courses, but with the advantage of allowing more in-depth training in Spanish language and culture; you will spend lots of time living with Spanish people and experiencing daily life in the dynamic and attractive city of Madrid.

It is also a good way to extend your budget, as you will have the chance to receive a discount in the price of the course if you enrol in a program of 6 months or more.

In contrast with the intensive Spanish courses which demand a lot of learning every week, the extensive Spanish courses allow you to improve your Spanish skills in a more relaxed and progressive manner, with fewer class hours and more culturally immersive activities to reinforce the classroom experience.

There are many people that are interested in learning Spanish but do not have the chance to attend the Spanish lessons that TANDEM Madrid offers every afternoon. Therefore, TANDEM has created a special program for them, an extensive course which is taught on the weekends and where you will not only learn Spanish but also participate in several cultural and leisure activities which are the perfect complement for your lessons.

1 week Junior program + 1 week soccer camp, from 9 to 17 years old (boys and girls).

First week: Junior Spanish Program at TANDEM Madrid.
The cultural and leisure activities will start every day after lunch: either an afternoon or evening activity. You will visit Madrid’s most famous landmarks, including the Plaza Mayor, the Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park, El Madrid de los Austrias (the Hapsburg legacy), the city’s sports facilities, and attend outdoor concerts and films. The school also offer sports activities including skating, swimming, hiking in the mountains outside Madrid, a visit to the Real Madrid Football Stadium, soccer or basketball matches, flamenco classes, and more.
Excursions: Saturdays there will be excursions to places close to Madrid, such as Segovia, with its famous Roman aqueduct; Avila, which is famous for its city walls, or El Escorial, with its amazing monastery which was built during the reign of Philip II.

Second week: soccer residential camp 1 week.
From the moment they awake until they go to bed the participants will live first-hand what it is like to grow as a group within the program of learning and sports directed by Foundation Real Madrid coaches and Campus Experience educators. Housed in a first class residence, participants are going to transfer daily to Ciudad Real Madrid de Valdebebas to take 90 minutes of training in the morning and afternoon under the supervision of Real Madrid Foundation coaches. All these activities are associated with the values of the club.

It includes daily activities and a weekend trip.

This academic program, which takes place in summer, consists of 4 lessons of 45 minutes per week for a minimum of two weeks. In these 15 days, or more, you will attend Spanish classes in a school in the centre of Madrid with other students your age and who come from many different countries.

You will live with a Spanish host family during your stay in Madrid.

Supervised lunch (until 14:30): EUR 25 per day.

The urban camp consists of immersion in Spanish, with classes and activities in the morning (cultural visits, gymkhanas, musical and sports activities, etc) until 13:30.

Groups of minimum 4 and maximum of 10 students to guarantee a personalized experience.

Afternoons, cultural activities are scheduled including a tour around Madrid’s most emblematic places that appear in Almodovar's films, a class on cinema and a film night around Almodovar's Madrid and the "Movida Madrileña".
