What we dislike about the school
  • Younger students should consider that the average age of students at this school is significantly higher than at most other schools.

Location: Trulli Italian School is located in the fascinating town of Alberobello, in Italy's Apulia region. The school is housed in a typical Italian home from the '60s and is a short walk from the historic centre of Alberobello. The town is famous for its traditional "Trulli" whitewashed stone huts with conical roofs, the Trulli of Alberobello are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The school is within a 10-minute walk of the In Alberobello Trulli and of the Trullo Sovrano Museum, in addition to eateries, restaurants, supermarkets and local shops. Students are sure to have a memorable time whilst reaching their language goals in the unique village of Alberobello.

School facilities: The school's facilities include a cafeteria, computer lab, library, garden, rooftop terrace and free WIFI. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Course selections: Course selection at the Trulli Italian School offers various courses for adult students, some of which are separated by ages groups of 30+, 50+ and Junior students. Teen Summer Camps take place throughout the summer months, whereas several Italian programmes in conjunction with Cooking, Cycling and Walking, assisting students in their enjoyment of the local area's beautiful surroundings, are available all year round.

Accommodation: Accommodation is available through the school in Hotels, Shared apartments, Single Apartments, homestays and even within traditional Trullo facilities!

“Very nice people in the school and on the excursions, we laughed a lot! Speaking Italian in the afternoon activities also helped a lot with learning. Alberobello is easy to reach by public transport and the school is within walking distance if you have accommodation in the town. We would love to come back!”

Quality of teaching / language progress: I highly recommend the combination with activities in the afternoon, which is particularly beneficial for speaking and listening comprehension. We had very nice hiking destinations and very friendly and patient guides.

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 38 €. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
