Location: Upper Madison College is situated in Downtown Montreal. This neighbourhood is nestled between the Mount Royal Park and St Lawrence River. It is a busy part of the city, with tall office blocks, shopping centres and a lively nightlife, mainly for students at the nearby Universities. The school itself is close to shops, restaurants, a festival venue and hotels.
Getting around: The Gare Central Train Station is an eight minute walk from the main entrance of the school. This is the main train station in Montreal and has regular services. The closest subway station to the school is the Square Victoria-OACI station, which is a five-minute walk away. This station is on L2. The Place-des-Arts station, on L1, is seven minutes away from Upper Madison College. There are a number of bus routes on the streets around the school, for those that prefer this method of transportation.
Things to see: A lot of the central things to see in Montreal are within walking distance from the school. Features such as the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Mount Royal Park are all within a 30 minute walking radius from Upper Madison College.
