**Programme Overview**
This is the ideal programme for the active, sports-minded campers who look forward to enjoying a different sport session lasting 3 hours, every weekday morning. The daily schedule includes team and individual sports with choices made from:
- football
- basketball
- swimming
- archery
- beach volleyball

- outdoor fitness trails
The programme includes a fun element with team games, challenges and competitions. It is a challenging, action packed programme where every camper will have fun whilst learning under the guidance of our enthusiastic and talented team of counsellors and coaches.
Although most activities in this programme take place in the alpine mountains around Leysin, the counsellors and trainers regularly take campers to the two well-equipped sports centres in town. The sports centres are top-class facilities with a wide range of sports and activities available.
In the afternoons, Sports campers join the other campers in age-appropriate groups, for more fun and all-camp activities.
**Accommodation, Activities & Excursions**
Campers stay at the Village Camps owned and managed Swiss Alpine Centre. The centre has spacious, mainly en-suite bedrooms for 3-4 campers as well as lounges and recreational areas and impressive dining facilities. The campus is well situated just above the main village and close to its excellent sport and leisure facilities.
There are exciting excursions to Geneva, the lakeside town of Lausanne, a chocolate factory and the Water-Park in nearby Aigle.
There is a variety of afternoon and evening activities both in Camp and outdoors, which campers from all programmes participate together. These all camp activities are organised and supervised by Village Camp counsellors.

Leysin

**Programme Overview**
The programme runs for 3 hours every weekday morning. The highly qualified Dance Director and her team deliver an outstanding dance experience, exploring many different types and styles of the dance repertoire.
From the very start the specialist dance teachers and the young dancers collaborate together to jointly develop the final performance, including:
- choosing their routines
- choosing the music
- frame the choreography
- design and make their own stage costumes
- create the stage-sets
- rehearse enthusiastically
Different types of dances are incorporated into the performances, which take into account the skills and experience of the dancers as well as the different cultures of this group - who come from all over the world.
The camp's professional and talented dance team works individually with each camper to give them complete confidence, improved skills and an expanded dance repertoire.
Each end-of session show is a complete ‘one-off’ with the campers’ individual ideas, music, moves and dances creating a new and impressive performance where the dancers will be spurred on by excited applause from the audience – the entire camp! After camp, all dance participants receive a link on the Village Camps Google Drive giving access to the end-of-camp show.
