Why Berlin? You need a whole encyclopedia to truly explain the city of Berlin! This capital city is vast, not just in size but also in culture. There is an exciting blend of art, culture, science, politics and business. Berlin has historical buildings that are worth a visit including The Kurfürstendamm and Memorial Church, Love Parade and Brandenburg Gate. The city has been restructured in the past decades to mix old with new: to acknowledge its past whilst at the same time move forward. The result of this is a city that has modern and unique cafes, bars and restaurants in derelict buildings giving it's underground scene the adjective of gritty to describe it. The best way to explore this city is by bike so that you don't miss anything!

Loved Berlin. Weather was crazy but oh well. Amazing city, loads to do, very friendly. Subway's and transport in general isn't very friendly in terms of understanding what ticket you need to buy but in general great experience.

Fascinating. Easy to get about. Civilised cyclists. Interesting architecture. Trees, birds and clean fresh air. Visible marks and monuments of human greatness and human horror with Museums and Monuments to explain it all.

There were no Russian-speaking students in my course, for me it is a plus, the group is very multinational, if you want to get to know each other and communicate, you will have to develop spoken German

The teacher Olga was lovely!
Overall, I think its a good school but not the best. For the money, location and easy accommodation (since it's very difficult to find a place to live in Berlin and expensive at the moment), it was good!

The school is not the worst for learning a language.
I wish the administration worked better. Some moments baffled me. But apart from the awful campus experience, the school itself is beautiful.

I liked the lessons because in the class there are only students who want to learn the language. With this I was able to concentrate very well in the class and I learned a lot in Alpadia.
I didn't like when my lessons were changed and placed in the afternoon because I wasn't able to visit the museums of Berlin and also to spend time with my new friends whose lessons were in the morning.

I personally wouldn’t recommend, especially because of the price and the overall experience. My first teacher Monika was a really good teacher and I know other teachers in the school are also really good. Not the best place to meet people from around the world because of the lack of interest of the school, the housing is not good.
