Lexis English in Noosa is found right in the centre of the coastal town known as Noosa Heads. Noosa Head is a busy town, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. There are a number of sandy beaches around the area that are good for surfing or simply soaking in the afternoon sun. The area as a whole has a thriving nightlife, great shopping options and students can immerse themselves in a fun beach vibe whilst learning English.
The centre of Noosa is about 45 minute by foot, or an alternative is a short 20 minute bus ride. Noosa Head Beach is a quick 20-minute walk from the school. On the other side of the strip are the Sunshine Beach and Castaway Beaches. These are all accessible by public transport from Lexis English. Noosa Head leads to Noosa National Park, which has trails to viewpoints and caves.
Lexis English has general English courses, exam preparation courses for the IELTS and Cambridge exams and English in action packages to combine English with surf lessons.
The school has free wifi throughout, library, a sunny courtyard, fully-equipped kitchen, student lounge and a student support desk.
Lexis English has an excellent social programme, to enjoy the nightlife of Noosa, socialise with other students at the school and most importantly practise your English in a real life setting. Lexis after dark is the name of the school's student party that occurs on Thursdays. The school puts on Lexis workshops, which are aimed at students who want part-time opportunities during their stay.

Why Noosa? Noosa is the Sunshine Coast's golden child and one of Australia's most fashionable resort towns. Known for its heavy surf, Sunshine Beach is backed by cafes, boutiques and canal-side villas but there is a healthy inter-mingling of urbanites, surfer dudes and beach bums drawn to the beach and bush. Its low-rise centre melts away into pristine subtropical rain-forest and crystalline waters and a coastal trail runs north and is home to wild koalas in Noosa’s National Park which is teeming with many other types of wildlife.
