Location: EC English Cape Town is located in one of South Africa's 3 capital cities, Cape Town, a port city beneath Table Mountain, on South Africa's southwest coast. Cape Town is basked in nature beauty, offering many outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking and cycling. Students of EC Cape Town have everything they need to have an extraordinary time whilst reaching their language goals with the school. EC Cape Town is housed in a renovated heritage building on the outskirts of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and is close to attractions such as the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art, the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Cape Wheel. Local to the school are many restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and links to public transport, ensuring that sites such as Maclear's Beacon, Kirstenbosch National Botanic Garden, and Boulder's Beach, are all just a short trip away. The school is within a 20-minute taxi ride of the Cape Town International Airport, ensuring that all arrivals and departures can be made with ease.
School facilities: The facilities within EC Cape Town are of a very high standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable inside and outside of the classrooms. Classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards and many have great views of the adjacent Table Mountain. The school's facilities include a library, a lounge area, a self-study area and free WIFI.
Course selection: Course selection includes tailor-made courses for students in Business, English for Work, Exam Preparation (FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS), English in the City and English + 2-day safari, in addition to Academic Semester or year programmes. Many programmes are available to students of all levels, ensuring there is something for all. English & Volunteering programmes are also available throughout the year.
Accommodation: Accommodation is readily available through the school in Homestay and Residence facilities, enabling students to feel well looked after, to enjoy the city and its surrounding areas to their fullest.
What makes the school special: EC English has a number of interesting extras included with the course: Free Access to Microsoft Office for the duration of the course; Orange Carpet Experience; Sunday Welcome Activity; extra language workshops and activities and access to MyEC from booking.
School chain: EC English Schools are all part of the larger group of EC Holdings Ltd. As a group, they have pushed boundaries within English tuition, for all levels and age groups, for many years. The group consists of multiple schools, spread throughout locations such as the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Malta and South Africa.

This residence features a restaurant for those who want it, and a shared kitchen for all those who prefer to prepare their own meals. You’ll find an abundance of places of interest located nearby, such as Table Mountain or V&A Waterfront.
There are single and shared rooms available. Every room as a minimum features a desk for studying, which is important for having a place to get your English studies done. The bed linens are provided, and the bathrooms are shared with other guests. As part of the fees you would already be paying, there is a cleaning service once every two weeks, which is mainly intended for leaving the shared kitchen in perfect condition again. All guests are encouraged to keep communal areas as clean and tidy as possible.
Upon arrival, the house staff will show you to your room, hand over keys, explain the house rules and show you how to get to school.
Breakfast is included from Monday to Friday; self-catering during the weekend.
