I had one of the shared flats to myself, so far so good. I was able to choose one of the three rooms. What I didn't like was the cleanliness and I certainly didn't expect German standards. The toilet brush must have been vegetating there for years, the flat was not cleaned, although it was said otherwise. This was particularly evident in the kitchen and every (!) bed, where I could still find hair from strangers when I was looking for one to use. Some of the appliances in the kitchen didn't work and when they did, they were unruly. Price-performance was ok, but could be improved here!

The teachers are very good and motivating. The lessons are very structured and entertaining.
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, I was placed in the wrong level, but was able to move up at short notice. The afternoon activities are well organised, but I was missing the welcome meeting for new students and the tapas tour.

What we learnt grammatically/theoretically in the first two lessons, we immediately put into practice in the following two lessons, i.e. we spoke a lot and applied what we had learnt.
The lessons were fun. I also liked the frequent change of teachers.

The teacher changes every now and then. This makes the lessons very varied. The school is centrally located.
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, the rooms and furnishings are a bit outdated. Sitting on a worn-out chair for a long time was exhausting. Sometimes very loud noises from neighbouring classes and from the street. The prices of the courses are not transparent.

The teaching material (own book) was very clear and well structured.
A good mix between theory and application (speaking).

The atmosphere, the patience of the teachers. I would love to come again!
Negative aspects
No modern audio and video equipment was used as teaching aids. Sometimes you could hear the teachers in the other rooms almost more clearly than your own, plus the noise from the street... difficult conditions for concentration.
Other comments
The video on the website is only aimed at young people: Beach, fun, leisure. I would have liked to know something about the organisation of the lessons, to see the classrooms. I almost chose another school because of the video, I didn't feel addressed.

I liked the concept of the school very much, i.e. that grammar is taught in the first two lessons and that this is practised in conversation lessons after the big break. I also liked the fact that the teachers in the conversation classes change all the time.

The room and bedding were sadly only half clean. Unfortunately, parts of the bedding and a warm blanket were also missing. There was no heating, which was difficult to manage because it was very cold in the apartment. Unfortunately the vacuum cleaner could not be used (it had no suction power).
The apartment shared with two really lovely ladies was great, the kitchen equipment, a washing machine and a general sitting area. Perfect.

The teaching style is getting a bit old, including the workbook. Frontal lessons up to 3 grammar lessons. Found a better school in Salamanca last year. The teachers were all very nice and motivated.

The city center is at times so overcrowded with daytime tourists that you can hardly get through (my room was in the old town). 2 weeks were ideal for me. That would be too much for me in Summer, with even more hype.

Ana was very kind, the room and bathroom were very clean and the food was tasty.

You should attend the activities the school arranges to meet lots of new people.
Flamenco night was so passionate and energetic I nearly cried.
Beach volleyball was great fun and gave the opportunity again to meet new people.
Salsa class was basic for me since I have been dancing for 2 years but I still attended just for fun.
Maybe hire a scooter to get around. There are an abundance of scooters around the city.
Museum Picasso is A MUST for all Art enthusiasts.
Seek out the ice cream shops. I recommend the Malaga ice cream -
Helartia, Plaza del Carbón, Nº23, 29015 Málaga, Spain.

I will be returning to the school again in 2020 for another week or two en route to Menorca Cami-de-Cavalles.

The location was good and the activities, with many teachers present, were also really good. It's good that the teachers are included.
Other comments
In my opinion it was too much focus on grammar, it's hard to learn the language when it's almost only grammar and not that much speaking. Everything went too fast, I felt like I hardly learned any Spanish. A lot of focus on exercises and grammar. Was it all necessary? Also, after two weeks learning from one teacher the female teacher replacing him told us that what we've learned was wrong. So two teachers from the same school saying different things? Sometimes it felt like the teacher was just someone that the school picked up from the street because they needed some more teachers. Could've been better.
Also the whole living situation could've been better from the school. It was so messy and so confusing this whole time. First three of us had to move so the school can keep people that are not even going to school and then no one in the school payed attention to my course extension and sent two new people in to our apartment saying that we had to move out. We've had a lot of problems that could've been better handled. I'm just thinking that if this was low season and still there was so many problems and mistakes, what is high season going to be like?
