Location: EC English Bristol is located within the city of Bristol, in the south-west of England. The school is housed over three floors, in the city centre's Queen Square and has modern and spacious facilities. Surrounding EC English Bristol there are restaurants, eateries, supermarkets and local attractions such as the Old Vic Theatre, the Bristol Cathedral, St Nicholas Market, Bristol Aquarium and Castle Park. The school is very well placed and experienced to offer students a fantastic time in Bristol whilst they reach their language goals. Bristol Airport is within a 35-minute train ride of the school, ensuring that all international arrivals and departures can be made with ease.

School facilities: The facilities within EC Bristol are of an excellent standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable and motivated inside and outside of the classrooms. The school's facilities include a library, a lounge area and free WIFI. All classrooms are equipped with heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment with most classrooms having electronic whiteboards.

Accommodation: EC Bristol can assist with accommodation in various Homestay and Residence facilities local to the school. Meal plans and double room facilities for students travelling together are also available.

Comments about courses

Double Banking: Lessons alternate between morning and afternoon sessions on a daily basis.

High Season fee not applicable to bookings longer than 12 weeks.

Students under 18 must book homestay, a return airport transfer and provide a parental consent form. Minors traveling with parents are exempt from these requirements.

Not included in the price:

  • Bank transfer fee: GBP 18.

  • Student insurance: GBP 10 per week. (Only applicable up to age 69).

  • Course material is GBP 7 per week (maximum GBP 56).

    Students who want to book one-to-one lessons need to book a minimum of two and a maximum of 10 per week in conjunction with a group course.

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 105 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

School with efficient, modern teaching (your course is personalized and you have a QR code with all the course notes so you can focus on what's going on in the classroom). The teachers are good listeners. I appreciated their dynamism. And a real ++ for Ian Waston.

Accommodation. The host was a disaster. We saw him less than an hour in a week. Always in front of the TV. Couch potato!
