Questions and answers about Oxford International Education
- I am looking for a course for my daughter, along with two other friends. They are 17 years old but it seems that your programmes are more oriented to adults. Do you have an alternative designed for this age group? They'd like to travel in April.“Oxford International Education, and most of the schools we work with, accept students from the age of 16 in their adult courses.
The schools accept students from all adult age groups. This means that they will be with other international students, older or younger than them. Groups are organized according to language level, not age, although in high season, if there is more than one group of the same level, the age of the students will also be taken into account. To give you an idea, the average age during the year is around 25-30 years old, while in summer it goes down to 20-22 years old.
However, there are schools that do offer junior programmes, but only during the summer months, not in April. If you can delay your trip for a few months, let me know and we will see what alternatives we can offer you.
Also, I remind you that if there are 3 people booking, we can offer an extra 5% discount on the course price. For most of our partner schools, we offer a 5% discount on the course, and for these schools the discount rises to 10% on the course price.”Rubén De Haro, LanguageCourse.Net - Nov 10, 2022 - Are the lessons from Monday to Friday, five days a week?“Yes, lessons are from Monday to Friday, five days a week.”Ana Carolina Dos Santos, LanguageCourse.Net - Sep 07, 2023
- In case there is a bank holiday in the middle of the week, are the lessons recuperated or refunded?“If a bank holiday falls on a weekday there is no refund nor are missed lessons recuperated.”Ana Carolina Dos Santos, LanguageCourse.Net - Sep 07, 2023
