Reviews by former students who attended a course in Frankfurt
I enjoyed the programmes. Teacher was good. Classmates are very friendly.

Course: Standard Course - 2 weeks

The location is very good. There is an open space on the first floor, but it is not on the floor where the lessons are held, and in the end it ended without conversation between the instructor and students other than the receptionist.
The receptionist made it appropriate.

The other students, with whom I’ve made longlasting friendships
I really liked the summer camp, I met some awesome people who I remain in contact even after the camp, my German improved a lot and I discovered a new city.

Course: Summer Junior Residential Course 20 - 2 weeks
Student age: 16 years
It is deficient on the part of the management; the reception of new students, the information regarding the group placements, their behaviour in general - it's the worst DID Deutsch I have been at (I had been in Munich and Hamburg and they seemed of high quality to me) - I would not come back to this school in Frankfurt.

I liked the warm atmosphere at school and interaction with teachers and students.

Course: Standard Course - 4 weeks
Student age: 20 years
Nice environment, friendly teachers and nice classrooms.
For me the classes I followed had nothing to do with the intensive learning I was promised, and the price of the courses were not equal to the learning level it was provided from Institut. If they don't have an appropriate class as promised then it would be better to say so, so we can decide to follow it or not.

It´s a cultural melting pot, with people from Brazil, Turkey and other parts of the world. I truly felt excited to be learning German around other people like me that come from all around the world.
Great school, absolutely recommended and I would advice other students to stay as long as you can.

One teacher named Markus. For the rest a waste of money. The school is not worth the 700 euro.
I did not like it. The director was also grumpy.

Course: Intensive Course - 8 weeks

Published materials, location of the school, motivated teachers.
A lot of grammar during the class time, could offer more communicative lessons and exercises to do at home.

Interesting lessons, new grammar explained well and friendly staff and students.
I made my own arrangements for accommodation. New students are given assessment paper which had to be completed in the small busy reception area, and interviewed in the same noisy area as a group of new students were being conducted about the school. It could be organised better by using a classroom and more staff to interview. The school knows how many new students need to be assessed and interviewed. Otherwise I had a good experience over the two weeks but I found the first morning very stressful.
