Location: Bede's Summer School Brighton is a junior summer school located in the popular seaside destination of Brighton, England. Housed within the University of Sussex, the only university campus in England surrounded by a National Park, the school is well-placed, around a 10-minute journey from central Brighton via public transport. The university campus has been described as a small village, containing award-winning architecture and all a junior student may need to have a fulfilling camp experience.

Social and cultural: All programmes given by Bede's Summer School Brighton include daily afternoon and evening activities, plus several excursions per week.

Activities in these programmes can include fashion shows, karaoke, talent shows, comedy gigs, excursions to local sights such as the Brighton Pier and much more.

Excursions in these programmes can include the best of Brighton, London, and other sites and places of social and cultural interest in the south of England.

Accommodation: Students are accommodated on campus, within the newest accommodation block that the University of Sussex offers, the Lullington Residence. The residence offers single beds with en-suite bathrooms, housed within flats of 8 rooms. Each flat has its own kitchen, common room, and social areas. There are also designated study areas on each floor.

School facilities: The school facilities are exemplary of boarding school facilities for junior students. These facilities include an on-site supermarket, eateries, cafes, a pharmacy, a post office, WIFI and more.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
