Venue: The Immerse Education Summer Programmes in London, are based at the main campus of University College London, in the heart of the city, near the British Museum and Regent’s Park. Students on the programmes stay in the University’s residence halls, living the life of a university student in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
The experience: Immerse Education is all about academic enrichment, providing transformative educational experiences to young learners who are preparing to embark on their career plan. Through the different subjects available, students experience content and language integrated learning, assimilating language skills as they hone skills related to their field of study. Immerse Education offers career pathway programmes to young people from around the world.
Fields of study: Programmes available in London include: Architecture & Design; Law; Medicine; Business Management; Engineering; Film Studies; Banking & Finance; Fine & Digital Art; Software Development & Gaming; and Media & Journalism; and are available to students ages 15 through 18 years.
Getting there: Since the programmes happen right in Central London, all of London’s airports are within easy distance, usually about an hour by public transport.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
