What we dislike about the school
- Older students should consider that the average age of students at the school is significantly younger than at most other schools.
Location: British Culture Language School Summer Centre is on the southern Turkish coast, in the resort town of Kemer, right on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. Kemer is an hour away from Antalya, and has it all - pebble beaches, a large marina, pine forests and Greco-Roman ruins. The school is located in a 4 star hotel one street away from the pebbled beach. It is a 10-minute walk from the centre of the town, whose main high street has popular supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
Package: The mornings are taken up with 20 lessons per week of English classes with English native teachers. The afternoons and evenings are for activities such as sports or interactive games, all spoken in English. These activities include quests, films, theatrical performances, and competitions. The accommodation is in shared rooms of two to three beds, with a shower and toilet in each room, air conditioning, lockers, bedside tables, TV and a balcony. Airport transfer to and from Antalya Airport is included.
Facilities: The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and evening entertainment programme with live music and dancing. The programme is full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner all being served at the hotel, except on excursion days. The meals are all self service with an array of local cuisine and side dishes.
