Venue: The Concorde International Junior Centre at Bath is based at Kingswood School, considered one of the best independent schools in the UK. The school is on the outskirts of the city of Bath, near Charlcombe. The large campus is in a green, residential neighbourhood, about a ten minute drive from the Bath Spa Railway Station. The city of Bath is one of the most visited in England, thanks to its important role throughout the country’s history; from the Roman Baths and seventh century abbey to the Georgian era Circus and its appearances in the works of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.
Facilities: Students on the Concorde International Junior Centre programmes at Kingswood School use the top notch facilities on campus including an indoor pool, a large sports hall, tennis courts, sports fields and astroturf. The five residence houses have from 1 to 4 beds per room. They offer an excellent quality of boarding and the catering in the refurbished dining hall is done to a very high standard.
Afternoon activities: The junior programmes all include a full programme of activities to keep students busy from breakfast until bedtime, as well as outings to nearby attractions in Bath and excursions further afield to places such as Stonehenge, London, Oxford, or Bristol. Students on the programme can also opt to participate in additional activities: horse riding, tennis, or golf. There is also an optional 4 hour per week FCE Exam preparation programme.

Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
